I cannot believe it’s January already. This is one of my most anticipated posts of the entire year. Including not only myself but fellow co-workers and professionals I get to work alongside for some goofy-ass photos is my bread and butter. I love this post, but it’s always a long one, so strap in folks. Grab your coffee, tea, soda, wine, Fireball, whatever suits you best and enjoy!

First off, I want to thank each. and. every. one. of these people. Plus a couple I regretted to not catch a photo with! Each one of these couples trusted me to handle their stress, to capture their moments, to share those moments with the world. They are all so, so, soooooooooo close to my heart. I stayed around IL for all 16 weddings with most around the Champaign area, a handful near Paxton, a few in the Chicagoland area, and a couple down south. Countless times I laughed, cried, danced, and cheered them on. To all my Mager Image Couples, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 

When opportunity arrises and there’s more than one Mager Image Bride at one wedding, we all get a photo together! Once a part of the MI family, always a part of my heart.

If you’re here, I don’t know how you could have possibly missed this! 2019 marked a re-birth of the Mager Image brand with an all new look, logo, website, and personality! I am STILL so thankful to Britt and Kelsey for all their hard work – and the cutest Christmas surprise ornament ever to mark the occasion!

I get to work with a lot of people, and this work relationship turned into the friendship of a lifetime. I absolutely love working with Kaula and we have a blast, especially on long car rides with the tunes cranked!

This guy. Man. I love this man. Being able to spend a few Saturdays a year together as a team is an incredible opportunity most don’t get. He’s been through some major transformations in the past year, too!

I also got to share my world a bit with my sister, Rachel! We had one fun day!

Lisa is another work-buddy turned friend! Somehow we always manage to get the hottest or wettest days ever to work on!

Youuuu know Sam! It’s always fun working with your sister-in-law, and she does an amazing job of reading my mind! Ha!

Y’all better remember our Bluestem Styled Shoot! It was one for the books and I could NOT have done it without the help of our full team! While some stayed around for shooting to help, I was lucky enough to grab a few photos of them!

I have to say, of allllll the people I worked with this year, this little girl was my favorite! I’m so excited that she’s finally getting old enough to come with me on shoots and she LOVES it every time!

Almost every veil you see in photos was secured into place by yours truly – despite the pretty photos of mom putting in the veil! When it’s time to come out, I do that too! I don’t like leaving it out of sight, so, in my hair it goes!

I also place most boutonniere’s, fix makeup, fold pocket squares, bustle almost every dress, and so. much. more. I’m more than your photographer, I’m your right-hand-woman!

Probably one of my favorite – and cutest – behind the scenes photo to date! I love that we caught me, mom, dad, and little man dancing. You can see the resulting photo in Laura and Drake’s blog post! He’s the cutie at the bottom on the left side!

Congrats! You made it to the end! Cheers to another great year!
