Happy New Year! | Recapping 2024 | Behind the Lens
Buckle up folks, it’s time for the longest post of the year.
Yep. It’s baaaaack.
We may have taken some time off since COVID (hell, I don’t have time to be doing this one) but here we are!

As I looked back through my 2024 weddings and content looking for those behind-the-scenes shots, I realized just how much it takes a village. From guests helping wipe down rain soaked chairs on the beach pre-ceremony or hired wedding coordinators killing it in the sweltering heat. So this post will have LOTS of shots from your usual Mager Image team – but you’ll also notice I’m including alllll of those behind-the-scenes photos that really show some more insight into all that goes into a wedding day – even if that means taking a pocket knife to your wedding dress… 😳
Welp – with that being said – let’s dive in!
I’ll start with a test run of a simpler way to share videos from this past year with you, but the best I have still plays simultaneously soooo – sorry about that. 😅
As you can see in that clip – I wear many hats! From second shooting again this year to more studio renovation projects, it’s been a busy year!
But I wouldn’t have been able to do a fraction of it all without these two individuals: my husband Brandon and my Assistant Kaula. Seriously, they not only put in SO much of themselves to help me, but they’re incredible human beings and I truly believe they make me a better person. 🖤
I worked with friends both old and new this year and made many fun memories while also working. Being friends with your competition is so much more fun y’all. Try it.
Now on to the people that honor me with the title “photographer” – THANK YOU. Your support year in and year out BLOWS MY MIND. You are what keeps me going most days.
The studio saw some major renovations!
Wedding day chaos is made manageable by incredible people, of which most end up being vendors!
And sometimes those incredible people are guests with a pocket knife who can help you lose the sand you accrued inside your dress!
I would be absolutely remise if I didn’t give a few special shout outs to the friends I love working with year after year!
