An Exciting Engagement Session at Indian Caves.

I am beyond excited to share Megan and Cole’s engagement photoshoot at Indian Caves at Perry Park with you! As you’ll see, the water levels were perfect and we got to do some exploring. The water levels vary at this location, so I never know what I’m walking into. Sometimes it’s a bit higher, like at Anna and Jake’s engagement session. But, on this particular day, the water was low enough for us to get out into the river a bit. Which always creates the most gorgeous images with all the pretty rocks and reflections.

I actually went to high school with Cole at Donovan High School back in the day. And it’s always fun when former classmates reach out about getting photos done. We got to reconnect a bit, and meeting Megan and their sweet dog was so much fun!

I never shy away from couples bringing their fur babies along for engagement sessions. We always get the biggest smiles from mom and dad! And I mean just look at her sweet face!

Then we sent her with our helper so we could walk down to the Indian Caves and the water without worrying about her getting all wet. Megan and Cole, however, did not shy away from getting out onto the wet rocks for some epic portraits!

And before we could leave Indian Caves, these two had to pull out their baseball jerseys for some fun photos. Obviously, they are on different sides of the Chicago baseball universe, but they were good sports and there was lots of laughs!
