Casual Outdoor Blush Toned Tent Wedding Reception in Paxton, Illinois

HELLO, it’s me, again! It’s been a minute, I know – but dang let me tell you, this summer and leading into fall has been JAM packed with sessions and weddings on Friday AND Saturday!! I’m staying afloat, but barely, so bare with me! So much is happening, but I have a few minutes so I thought I’d get Morgan + Colton’s reception up here!

Morgan + Colton’s outdoor tent reception was the most perfect, laid back, casual evening! You may remember their wedding at Pear Tree Estates back in December! They decided to post-pone the reception until this summer so they could celebrate with family and friends.

They had a MASSIVE tent set up in Colton’s mom and dad’s backyard, which was the perfect location! The decor and details that they included were so pretty and simple! I absolutley LOVED the Ikes light up letters from Alpha-Lit. The pictures of them in front of them were some of my favorite from the night!

Before the recpetion, we were able to snap a few of just Morgan + Colton (ohhhh and the beeeby bump…AHHH!!) Then the bridal party showed up looking so good! Morgan + Colton wanted this to be casual and it was just that, but it was perfect. The girls’s dresses all coordinated perfectly in their blushy-mauve tones!

After dinner, we went out to do some sunset portraits and ugh I love these, along the pond! These 2 are so damn cute and are so fun to work with! The golden hour light was glowing!! Speaking of glowing…hellllo Morgan! This girl is 7 months pregnant and is seriously so damn cute rockin’ that bump! These 2 are going to be such amazing parents!

Ok you guys, I am one LUCKY lady!! There were SIX, I repeat SIX Mager Image Couples in attendance!! CUE THE TEARS!!! This made my heart freaking flutter so hard! On top of the couples being there, Brandon and Bexley were in attendance so of course we had to get proof of that! Bexley loved being a wedding guest so much, but also wanted to get her hands on a camera, so was taking iPhone shots and posing girls out on the dance floor 😂 Like mother, like daughter!

This night was perfect, and after this reception, I feel so very blessed for being able to do what I love for couples I love!
