Like other couples in 2020, Morgan + Colton have been THROUGH IT when it comes to wedding planning!! Being a vendor hasn’t been easy either, but I am so glad I can help support my couples in planning and helping accommodate their big day in any way possible.

Morgan + Colton decided to have their ceremony now and postpone their reception until August 2021 – all of which will take place at Pear Tree Estates. Saturday finally arrived and their closest family and friends were able to join them in their intimate ceremony.

Honestly, for a December wedding the weather was quite mild and made for a perfect day to shoot outside. Morgan and the girls and Colton and the guys got ready in the Concord Room which sits next to Pear Tree. Having them all in one location made it easy on my 35 week pregnant ass! The morning went great and Morgan had such a stunning look. Her florals were TO DIE FOR….thanks to the amazing Flowers by Kristine! There was so much variety and texture in her bouquet, it truly completed her look!

After the ceremony, we were able to take a few more bridal party pictures and then some bridal portraits. The sun made an appearance at the perfect time and Morgan + Colton were willing to sit on the very cold ground to get these awesome prairie grass sunset shots!! I love the way these portraits turned out!!

THE PROPOSAL

“He waited to kill a deer before he did it (hence, why it was in November). He actually ended up killing the dear I had been after for years and felt bad. So he told me he wanted me in the pictures since it was technically “my deer”. We took some together and then he said he wanted some of just me and the deer. He then came up from behind me while his friend from college captured the moments!” – Morgan
