Fall Rustic Wedding at Events at Refinery, Champaign, IL

I couldn’t wait for Ryan + Naomi’s wedding day, and it was such fun! Shooting their morning at the Wingate in Champaign was gorgeous, and a new favorite! The guys and girls both got ready in separate rooms and the details are some of my new favorites. Ya’ll know how this chick loves her some burgundy weddings – and this was no exception! Mixed with their rustic fall vibes, navy accent colors, and vibrant florals, everything came together perfectly. Visiting the farm once more since their engagement photos was great and we got photos in JUST before the rain came in!! Their ceremony did have to get moved inside from the farm, which they luckily enough found a venue close by! The rain came in as the ceremony came to an end so we went on to the reception to Events at Refinery. I loved the centerpieces accented with various parts bringing in Ryan’s diesel mechanic job, further bringing in their rustic vibes! Since Brandon and I went to college with many of their wedding party and guests, we were there most the night having a blast!

THE PROPOSAL

“He definitely surprised me! We were walking on the beach on a family vacation in Alabama Gulf Shores with my sister Paige and her boyfriend Kurtis at sunset. Next thing I know he grabbed my hand and I turned around and saw him down on one knee. I was so caught off guard that I asked him what he was doing?! Then he told me how he started to fall in love with me from the first time we met and wants to spend the rest of his life with me and asked me to be his wife, so of course I said yes!” – Naomi
