Spring Engagement Photos at Maxwell Park for Cassandra + Brian

This week I am so excited to share Cassandra and Brian’s spring engagement photos with you! These two had a specific location in mind when we chatted about their engagement session. I had never been there before, but I never shy away from a new location!

I love when a couple chooses a location that means more to them than just a pretty backdrop. But, I won’t lie, when I’ve never seen the location myself it’s always a little nerve wracking. I have this fear that I’ll show up and see absolutely nothing to work with. And at first, that’s exactly what went through my mind when I pulled up to Maxwell Park. It was full of kids playing on playground equipment and what looked to be a frisbee golf course under construction. However, after meeting up with them and they explained it was a little walk to get to, I was relieved. When we headed that way, we found trees and pathways and even a cute little creek! It was the perfect spot for spring engagement photos!

We began exploring the park and found so many pretty little spots full of spring blooms. As we were chatting, we found that Cassandra and I share a bit of history. Her sister and I were actually good friends way back in kindergarten! It was a fun little connection, and such a small world moment.

Their spring engagement photos were turning out so perfect already, then we even got the perfect sunset for a silhouette photo! It was truly the perfect end to the sweetest session. These two are so fun-loving and were down for all of my crazy ideas. I can’t wait to share their wedding day here on the blog soon too!
