Colorful Engagement Photos At Lake Of The Woods.

This week we have Rachel and Eric’s engagement session at Lake Of The Woods in Mahomet! It was later in the fall, so it was a bit chilly and there wasn’t much color around. The red bridge was also under construction this day, so we went a little bit off the normal path and got creative. It was really fun to venture into the woods a bit more without having to worry about Poison Ivy and such with the cooler temperatures.

Rachel and Eric planned their wedding at Hudson Farms and wanted sort of the same vibes for their engagement photos. Lake of the Woods came to mind immediately. It is the perfect spot for almost any time of the year because there are so many great areas to explore.

I loved Rachel’s classic black dress and boots with Eric’s burgundy shirt! Her pop of color in her hair was the perfect touch as well. The colors worked so well with the scenery of the late fall at Lake of the Woods. Their wedding definitely gave the same vibes and I absolutely loved it! Very on-brand over here at Mager Image.

I had such a great time getting to know these two. Our daughters are even on competing gymnastics teams, so I get to see them from time to time at competitions. It’s always fun to get to chat about life and how they’ve been doing!
