Lake of the Woods, Mahomet, IL

Ever since I’ve known Hillary, she’s loved softball. We grew up together, our parents being close, and attended elementary and high school up until I moved away and from an early age softball was a big part of who she was. On to college, and of course, there was softball. Fast forward to her senior year, and the men’s baseball team started fall conditioning together. Waking up for 5am practice, tired, no makeup, and sweaty aren’t exactly the most charming techniques, but it must have caught Brian’s eye! A couple weeks after at a party, they both ended up there and chatted the night away, going out on their first date soon after. I first met Brian when we arrived at Lake of the Woods for their engagement session. He really is sweet and I can tell Hillary lights up when around him. Their engagement session was a little chilly but we did have some warm looking light at least!
