The most beautiful engagement session at Allerton Park.

Jess and Mathew are back! This time for their engagement session at Allerton Park. If you remember from their surprise proposal post a few weeks back, Jess is my associate and just the best human ever. So, photographing their journey has been so much fun for me.

We decided to shoot at Allerton Park for their engagement session, and to our surprise, the peonies were in full bloom! I’ve never gotten to shoot while they’ve been at peak season, and it was so exciting. Bucket list item, check! Just look at that rock from Bremer Jewelry for an up close of the peonies.

We explored the entire botanical gardens at Allerton Park, and stumbled into the coolest area with a hedge maze. It was very Goblet of Fire reminiscent, if you know what I mean, and it made fore the perfect portrait location. These two ROCKED it and we got the most amazing photos around the botanical gardens!

Then, they changed into their second outfit, and Jess had a request for some more amped up, spicy photos for their engagement session. Which, as a boudoir photographer, you know I’m always down for. Her outfit was absolutely perfect for them too, and they turned out amazing. Then of course, we couldn’t go home without getting at least one silhouette shot for these two. Just look at that sunset!

Jess and Mathew finally said “I do” on July 5, and I cannot wait to share those images with you. So, stay tuned for that blog post coming really soon!
