A beautiful summer wedding at The Odyssey.

Karen and Charlie said “I Do” on the most gorgeous summer day at The Odyssey in Tinley Park, IL! It’s not often that I get to travel to Chicago for a wedding, but when I do I take full advantage. The city just makes any wedding day even more glamorous!

The day started off with the perfect glam session for Karen. I mean, just look at those photos! In the meantime, Charlie headed off to the barber shop to get cleaned up for the day. I always love it when the guys want to do something a little different!

Then it was time for a first look and bridal party photos with a view! Karen and Charlie wanted to have the Chicago skyline as a backdrop for their wedding party photos, so we headed to Shedd Aquarium to get the best view. The bus driver even made a stop on the side of the road at Soldier Field for a few fun portraits for these Bears fans before heading to the venue!

The Odyssey Venue was absolutely STUNNING! The ceremony space is so unique and there a plenty of places to take portraits near the water, which we all know I love. If you need any proof, just check out Grace and Cole’s winter wedding photos near the water.

After the sweetest ceremony, we headed inside for the reception. And, if I can only say one thing, it would be that Karen and Charlie’s wedding guests know how to have a great time! Which made for some awesome reception photos.

But, I did convince these two to sneak away for a few outdoor photos once the sun went down, and I’m so glad we did. These were some of my favorite portraits of the day!
