I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Yes, I am finally posting this wedding! Let me tell you this summer has been crazy busy with weddings, engagements, babies, maternity – you name it! But I am keeping up as much as I can all while being a mom, wife, friend, etc. Anyways, enough with my bullshit…Lindsay + Dylan’s day was one for the books! It was VERY hot and humid day, but that didn’t stop us from getting some great pics!! The humidity did not help the buginess on bridal party photos. Props to bridesmaids who got eaten alive by mosquitos in pictures, but damn was it worth it 😉
The girls and guys both got ready at the church and even though it was a church wedding, they got married outside the church in front of a gorgggg field of wildflowers! Lindsay + Dylan wrote letters to each other and Dylan wrote Aleiyah (Lindsay’s daughter) a letter and it was soooo sweet!
There was a first for me this wedding, which if you know me, I love capturing something I haven’t before. They decided to do a butterfly release during the ceremony in memory of Lindsay’s brother and sister. It was so neat and so special!
The reception was a partttyyy! So many people on the dance floor, but there was a funny switcheroo during the garter retrieval – be sure check the pics out!!
Lindsay’s mom and my mom (Vicky) are really good friends so it was such an honor to capture her daughter’s special day! This was one of the very few weddings that my parents were at, and they never get to see me work, so of course I had to get a pic with them!
“Dylan proposed to me after a co-worker function at Emancipation Brewery in Fairbury, IL in the middle of the country. He randomly pulled over on the road and asked me to get out of the truck and then proposed. I was very surprised and my hand was shaking!” – Lindsay
Lindsay + Dylan I had the best time shooting your wedding! It was such a fun day, I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I enjoyed snapping them🖤
