There is something about shooting 3 weddings in one weekend – it’s called exhaustion. But I was still so excited to second shoot with Mckaila Singer Photography for Sammy + Mike’s wedding. I had so much fun working with Mckaila and I love her style of shooting! I really do hope to work again with her in the future.

I traveled to the Chicagoland area for the big day. But, what do you know, another wedding postponed more than once due to COVID – so Sammy + Mike decided to revamp things to be super intimate with closest friend and family in a backyard ceremony.

Of all the weddings I have photographed, it was the first time to have an officiant by skype 😂 Even with a virtual officiant, it was intimate. I absolutely LOVED the feeling of the whole day, it was so laid back. Inviting fewer people does have its perks, less people meant more time to spend with the people there. The intimacy behind the entire day all just felt so right and so special. So special in fact that they had FLOWER GIRL DOGS……OMFG they were the cutest. Overall, the day was a dream and I loved being a part of it!
