I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Sherrie + Doug’s day was full of fall feelings! I arrived at the Onarga Methodist Church to find the church steps lined with full, blooming mums accented with florals filled with sunflowers and it complimented the warm fall day we were having. Sherrie was finishing up getting ready and soon after she was dressed, we met up with Doug for their first look which was so sweet.
Their ceremony was in the church and was small (thanks COVID) and full of so much love. I loved the glass unity ceremony they did where they’ll send it off and have it made into a glass sculpture representing them and their wedding day, how cool!
We went out to their farmhouse just outside of Onarga for some portraits of the two of them and headed to Gilman for an intimate reception held at the cutest wine shop, Inside Out, in Gilman. Plans may change in a national pandemic but at the end of the day, they have each other, now as husband and wife, and I couldn’t be more happy for them!
I hope you’re loving your wine tour this week you two! It was a pleasure to spend the day with you both and capture things from my point of view!
