I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
I’m writing this letter just minutes after delivering a wedding gallery to a client and remembering back to what it felt like to be “newlyweds”. It was exciting, nerve wracking, and blissful all rolled into one. We’d been friends for years and our families were constantly crossing paths and camping together. I was close with your parents even before we were together, and my parents knew it was only a matter of time before we realized that we were more than friends. When you proposed we were young, fresh out of high school with hardly any college experience under our belts, but it all felt right. We took time planning for a year and a half, living together for about six months before marriage. It was a tough six months, as you know! We went through a lot with planning, school, new careers, and the added journey of living with someone new – I think we both agree that it was the toughest 6 months of our relationship so far. Through all of that, having a baby, moving, renovating, traveling, and just plain hectic lives, we’ve grown stronger. I couldn’t think of anyone else by my side day in and day out and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us! I love you!
look at those babies! how time has flown since our wedding day!
I caaaaannnn’t wait for August in Iceland to have our couples’ portraits updated on something other than an iPhone… ha!
