I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Wedding season started off with a big bang – which means #weddingwednesday is BACK baby! When Rachel + Bryan booked me for their spring wedding, I was thrilled to travel north to Homer Glen for their reception at DiNolfo’s Banquets. Ladies and gents……this VENUE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The floor to ceiling windows, wrap around staircases (yes 2) and the large balcony allowed for Rachel + Bryan’s day to be so romantic.
I know I’ve said it a million times but team #brachel is SO fun and being by their side the entire day allowed for lots of laughs and great memories to be captured….one being, Bryan taking the drunk walk to a whole new level (all my MI Brides know what I mean)! By far my favorite part was the father/daughter first look, I couldn’t even narrow down the photos because my goooodness. The reaction caused the tears to be cued….heart melting!!
This couple is simply meant to be together so, I cannot leave out their engagement story because it’s just too cute. Rachel told me the night he proposed he continued to check his pulse all night and she assumed he didn’t feel well, but little did she know, in front of their close friends, Bryan proposed at the end of the night at the Festival of Lights at the Morton Arboretum. The surprise wasn’t over though…after the proposal, he planned a surprise engagement party with all their friends and family back at their house. The absolute best part is that the ring Bryan proposed with is the same engagement stone that Rachel’s Nanny wore for many years…here come the smiles and sweet tears! Overall, the day was absolutely perfect and I am so happy for #brachel!
Thank you for letting me capture you special day! Oh and enjoy that Jamaican sunshine in June!
Drum roll please….
Get your tissues ready!I’m not crying…you’re crying!
YOU GUYS……!!!!
future MI couples take note…”the drunk walk” – Bryan set the bar high
