U of I Arboretum + Japanese Gardens, Champaign, IL

Summer seems like a perfect time to try new things, so I reached out to local videographer Tori Beach about making a handful of promo videos for me as a photographer, and she was on board! Shortly after putting out a model call on Facebook, Bailey and Jacob were also in on the idea. We wanted a couple to simply model for us to take video of me ?and these two were awesome for the task! They were to be married a few months after the shoot, so perfect timing for some updated photos too! Together the four of us walked around the Arboretum and Jacob and Bailey were naturals, going along with every pose and idea I had, even the use of sparklers! I loved bringing in a new element to their portraits and the sparklers added the perfect “spark” we needed (see what I did there ?) right as the sun was going down. I loved this session and am excited to finally be sharing it with you!
