I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
While Ellie + Greg are in the middle of planning their June 2015 wedding, they took some time off for engagement pictures. After the last big snow of the season, I was a bit worried about the weather. We had not seen the sun for days, and things looked pretty gloomy outside. However, the sun was out and shining bright on the afternoon of their session! The temperature was finally starting to feel like spring, and the snow was melting. I met Ellie + Greg in Mahomet at the Lake of the Woods state park. Ellie fell in love with the red bridge she had seen in some of my previous engagement shots and it totally made up for the inches of icee sludge we walked through most of their session! 🙂
Thanks to Ellie, we were able to sneak around the side of this awesome side bridge for a bit! True. Love.
Didn’t Greg do an excellent job picking out Ellie’s ring?! Holy cow that bling!
Right before sunset, we headed over to one of Ellie + Greg’s favorite fishing spots where they spend a lot of their time together!
