A Colorful Summer Wedding at Crooked Creek | Leslie + Ryan

Buckle up, because this is a long one you guys! Leslie and Ryan’s colorful summer wedding at Crooked Creek Whitetails Estate was stunning. This is one of my favorite venues. It is light, it is white, it is just clean and crisp in every detail. And the venue owners are just the sweetest people.

As you’ll see, this colorful summer wedding day was full of detail and style and I was so here for it! The perfectly mismatched bridesmaids dresses. They invited guests to dress according to the color scheme. Leslie had really cool custom made shoes. Every detail so beautifully thought out!

The guys were also looking super sharp. The groomsmen were in tan and Ryan rocked an orange suit. His tie was supposed to be an ivory color. But, the shop had messed it up. And it ended up being such a cool mistake because we all agreed it looked so cool with the vibe of the day!

After getting ready it was on to the first look, which was just the beginning of how fun this day would be. He got a boudoir book (by yours truly) as a wedding gift. And if you can’t tell by his face in these photos, he loved it.

Leslie’s bouquet was STUNNING, I mean just jaw-dropping florals by The Prickly Poppy. When I told you the details were out of this world at the beginning of this blog, I meant it! They all made this colorful summer wedding one for the books.

Then on to the beautiful, shady outdoor ceremony and bridal party photos. Their bridal party was just so much fun and they were totally down for my creative ideas. Leslie really wanted to get tons of photos, and of course we all know I was happy to oblige!

Finally it was time for portraits with Leslie and Ryan, and we got to explore so much of the beautiful property. There was even a fun little swing that we got to have Leslie sit on for a few playful photos.

In addition to the boudoir book Leslie gifted to Ryan during their first look, the bridesmaids also handed him some spicy polaroids throughout the night. These are just a few of those moment I caught!

Leslie had a dress change during the reception and we went out for golden hour photos in it. It was such a fun and flirty little dress and gave her a chance to show off her shoes too!

There were lottery tickets hidden under random seats throughout their reception. So of course we got a photo with the winners!

Of course we had to get a quick Mager Image couples club photo! I have photographed all of these couples’ weddings, and there are a few guests that were in attendance that I’ll be photographing soon too!

These fun marquee letters are a part of every wedding at this venue, and I think it’s such a fun touch!
