Maroon & Navy Rustic Romance: Kelsey and Austin’s Unforgettable Fall Celebration

Get ready for a wild ride through the whirlwind of Kelsey and Austin’s wedding day, where rustic charm and the vibrant hues of maroon and navy merged with the crisp air of fall, creating a celebration that was nothing short of a fiesta!

This wedding was an absolute blast to capture. Kelsey, with her magnetic personality and infectious spirit, found her perfect match in Austin, and their love story unfolded on a day that would be etched in their memories forever.

The morning was all about those essential wedding details – dresses, shoes, jewelry, and the intricate maroon and navy-themed accents that gave the day a unique character. It was about setting the stage for a love story told through every snapshot. I started with the girls At Kelsey + Austin’s home as they all hustled around getting ready, while Kaula arrived to the men at Paige + Tyler’s house – which was a familiar setting for us!

On the other side of the coin, the guys were getting prepped too – socks, shoes, cufflinks, and all the little details that would complete their dapper looks. The anticipation in the air was palpable as the clock ticked towards the most awaited moment.

Then came the transformative moment when Kelsey donned her wedding attire. Once dressed, we brought in the bridesmaids for that tear-filled first look – which was NOTHING compared to when dad was Kels for the first time!

The sun was shining, and the air had a crisp, invigorating bite as Kelsey and Austin joined each other before the ceremony for a first touch, creating a moment that was truly special. I never like to push any couple into certain traditions (or non) for their timeline, and these two wanted to save that first look for down the aisle. Luckily, they were able to share a few moments with each other prior to the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony took place against the rustic backdrop of the fairgrounds, with Kelsey and Austin exchanging their vows in a moment that left everyone in awe. It was the beginning of a new chapter, and the joy was palpable. With every step, the day became more vibrant. Bridal party photos were a riot of color and laughter, as everyone came together to celebrate the love of Kelsey and Austin. Their energy and love were infectious, making it impossible not to smile.

The journey continued with a bus ride to Murdocks for a drink as things turned over at the reception. I grabbed shots of some of the party getting off the bus and they for sure give “game day” vibes.

And finally, the fairgrounds may be one of my favorite venues for the ambiance it provides on a cool autumn evening. Everyone gathered to celebrate Kelsey and Austin’s love story, and damn do they know how to PARTY! Love stories like these deserve to be celebrated, and that’s exactly what we did. But we’ll save the rest of the story for the photos, because sometimes, pictures speak louder than words.
