Indian Caves Spring Engagement Session, Bourbonnais, IL

What an adventure this session was! But damn was it worth it!! Initially we wanted to try Perry Farm Park, and I couldn’t remember ever working there so I googled the location and noticed this location nearby named Indian Caves and it looked so cool and unique and knew we had to go there!

I had been told it was a tough trek to get to but it really wasn’t after we found a parking lot closer by than expected! Luckily, it was in Marc’s old neighborhood so he knew the area.

Madison’s dress was so springy which I loved! It added a great pop of color to all the images and Marc’s blush shirt matched perfectly! On top of being well dressed, these 2 were SOOOO natural in front of the lens. I felt like I didn’t need to do much coaching, thanks to Madison’s sister, Morgan! Morgan is a photographer so the couple had already practiced with posing – so that helped a ton!

Big kudos to these two for going along with my crazy ideas and being willing to stand in the middle of the stream on rocks (luckily the water wasn’t deep this time but I’ve heard it can get pretty deep and dangerous so definitely know your limits!) It made for such awesome shots!

They get married this October and I can’t wait!
