You may have seen Holly + Caleb’s most perfect fall wedding on the blog already. So I couldn’t NOT share their engagement session!!

I love shooting at places I’ve never been, so it was a breath of fresh air to go down to Carbondale Illinois for Holly + Caleb’s engagement session! I’d never been to Giant City State Park before so we got there in plenty of time to drive a bit around and look around. Of course there were some gorgeous backdrops – the rocks, trails, creeks, you name it it was PERFECT!! They love to hike/adventure – so off we went and I’m so glad we did because I absolutely love how these turned out! Despite it being early March, it wasn’t too cold, and the cloudy skies helped us to move around to where ever we wanted.
