A Rainy Day Fall Wedding at Timber Creek Bed + Breakfast, Paxton, IL

I feel like there’s always some point in the year that I talk about how crazy ridiculous Mother Nature is making the weather, but for real, this fall weather has been cray cray. All week I was sure that the forecast would once again scare everyone but yet do nothing. Well, Saturday morning came, the sun came out, and so did the rain. Perfectly shining sun AND rain. REALLY?! To have my bases covered, we drove around the area of Timber Creek Bed and Breakfast for thirty minutes prior to our arrival, scoping out possibilities for portraits in the rain. As the morning passed and the girls prepped, we all prayed and hoped the rain would hold off just in time for the outdoor ceremony. The weather played games with us all morning, but finally the call was made to move the ceremony indoors. Just as the ceremony began, the sun came out (while still raining) and according to the forecast, we had an hour before the skies would open up once again for the rest of the night. We worked double-time to strategically grab all of the portraits we could before the rain began again. Somehow though, the skies slowly cleared, the sun started to shine, and the rain began to really stop. By the time we were through with portraits and formals, it was clear skies all around!

It may have been a little frantic there for a minute and kept us all constantly on our toes, but ultimately the day was beautiful. Kevin + Ashley have a beautiful family and were surrounded by all of their friends and family who love and support them, and it was a wonderful sight to see. I hope these two are enjoying their time in Punta Cana on their honeymoon!

One of my favorite moments of the day was hands down watching Kevin help Noah get ready for the day.  

There was sun and rain happening during the ceremony, so I had Sam step out to grab a quick photo of it! 

I love working out at Timber Creek Bed & Breakfast in the fall, the colors are just stunning!

I stepped outside for a minute and noticed a light fog in the air. I knew immediately I would need to grab a light and get these lovebirds outside for a minute or two.
