I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Labor Day weekends aren’t often wedding weekends for me, but for Jordan + Dalton, I made an exception. Boy am I glad I did! I met with the girls for the morning details and to get Jordan into her gown, which was a stunning fit! I loved seeing the bridesmaids dresses as everyone arrived, a rich mix of blush and burgundy, paired with coordinating florals! The guys were sharply dressed in navy, which as most of you know is my all time favorite color combination right now! Upon arrival I could see the ceremony set up across the pond, chairs facing a freshly built dock over the water. Such a beautiful site for a wedding. My favorite part of the ceremony was when the Pastor was talking about all of God’s animals, and suddenly the geese swimming on the pond took flight right over the couple and their guests as if it was almost planned. What timing! After family formals we hopped onto a hayride with the bridal party (who are all tons of fun) and went around the property for photos. It was SO HARD to narrow those shots down for this post, but if you follow me on Facebook you’ve already seen one of my favorite shots of the evening (though hard to pick just one). I was incredibly honored to have been trusted by Jordan and Dalton to capture such a perfect (rain free – despite what the forecast said!) day, and hope that they truly cherish these photos all their lives. I love every photo!
