I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Sam had recently moved from Paxton to Hoopeston right before his senior year. For his senior session, I asked where he wanted to have them done and we decided on the streets of Hoopeston, which aside from driving through once or twice, I’d never been. As with most new locations, I was excited to see what I could find. It turns out, the back alleys and old buildings of Hoopeston make for great backdrops! We had been on a long streak of gloomy weather and this was the first semi-not-as-gloomy day we’d had all week, though it was still dark. However, fall was upon us and the darker weather made for richer colors with the brick walls and colorful ivy that covered some of the walls we found! After making good use of downtown Hoopeston we headed over to Hoopeston High School to visit the football field. These are some of my favorites, as I love shooting around the bleachers and the gloomy skies actually helped while shooting on the field! I loved every image, enjoy some of my favorites!
