I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
I absolutely love shooting in Monticello at the Allerton Park and Retreat Center, and the only thing better out there is photographing a wedding at the great Allerton Mansion! Last summer, I was able to do just that when fellow photographer friend Kaula reached out to me about second shooting for her for the day. Of course I agreed and we met that morning to hang with the Alexandria and the ladies for a little bit before meeting up with Kyle and his guys. Both parties were super calm and excited for the day ahead! Kaula and I took a peak at the set up downstairs in the main room of the mansion, and it was looking beautiful! I loved the bright blue color of the reception table linens paired with the simple floral centerpieces! The two agreed to keep things traditional but still gave us plenty of time throughout the day for photos, which we started with separate bridal party photos in the gardens. Just wait until you see their ringbearer pup! Complete with his own suit and tie! The ceremony was held just outside the mansion in the Koi Pond area, and may have been a little warm being in full sun, but it was still oh-so-sweet! After we headed out farther into the gardens for some more private bridal photos of Kyle and Alexandria alone, and they’re so gorgeous! I stayed for a short while into the beginning of the reception which gave me just enough time to photograph some of the dessert bar after set up was done and head off for the night! I always enjoy hanging out with Kaula, and she’s awesome to work with! I’m excited to share these with you, happy Wednesday!
