I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Oh Estelle. She is probably one of my sweetest, bubbliest spokesmodels, and I am so happy to finally get to share her senior session with you! Blogging is a tough gig you guys, seriously. Each blog post takes hours from editing images, resizing, writing, sharing, linking social media, and more, it’s almost a full time job in itself. So I never promise blog posts, but it’s my way to finally show off the amazing girls (and occasional guys) that I get to work with each year. Since I’m so behind on blogging my senior sessions, get prepared to see a lot more #seniorsunday posts!
Estelle first asked me if we could visit her family’s farm for her session. Of course I said yes, but as in all new territories, there’s a little voice in the back of my mind curious if the location will be up to par. And believe me when I tell you, Estelle’s property WAS. I mean, you don’t have to believe me, proof is in the photos, but COME ON. From the adorable front porch surrounding her home, to the wild flowers planted all over the place, to the animals! Yes! Chickens, cats, bunnies, her dog, ducks, and even peacocks were all in attendance!
Luckily, I had some leftover “props” in my car from our senior group photoshoot, so Estelle (along with the help from her dad) played around a bit with some smoke bombs, and if I do say so myself, I LOVE THEM. So fun, different, bold, and colorful! Everything I aim for in life!
Also, a quick shout out Sage Ihrke for rockin’ Estelle’s makeup that day!
