Happy Birthday Sage!
I’m not sure where to start. For the past week, I have been trying to think of how to write you this happy birthday post, because there’s so much to say. In the past year, so much has changed. We met years ago when you were just this tiny little girl running around with so much energy and enough “goof” to go around the world, twice. And well, you’re still tiny, and still goofy, but I have also watched you grow into the sweetest, funniest, most gorgeous young woman that I know today. When we brought Bexley home, I knew that I could not be mommy and boss lady without a little extra help, and you were the first person we thought of. It may have been a bit scary at first, but bringing you into our home to watch our little girl has been the blessing we didn’t know we were missing. To hear you sing lullabies and play peek-a-boo with Bexley just melts my heart. You’ve been there for the little moments, and the big ones. From Bexley’s first rollover to the day she crawled for the first time. You have become an essential part of our family, and words can’t describe how much we love you.
Happy birthday Sage, I can’t believe you’re 16!
