Zack & Taylor are two unbelievably sweet people, and everyday make sacrifices for those around them. You see, both Zack and Taylor are currently serving our country as Marines. As with most military weddings, time off is hard to come by with just one person serving, let alone both the bride and groom! When these two were able to coordinate their schedules to finally be home together, they wanted to make the most of it! So, with less than a weeks notice, I agreed to photograph the start of their lives as Mr. & Mrs. Raker.

It was a chilly Tuesday in the beginning of the year, and weather channels were calling for snow. Not just a dusting, but A LOT of snow! I was determined to make it to Champaign, and nothing was going to stop me! Luckily, I have one of the best husbands out there, and he agreed to drive me around Champaign and wait around all day while I captured their special day. Thanks honey!

 To Taylor and Zack, I am so happy that fate put you two together and allowed time for you to tie the knot! Your service and bravery for our country is extraordinary, and I couldn’t thank you enough!
