I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Have you met Ben Grice yet?
Odds are, if you live in Paxton or the surrounding areas, you might have already or will soon!
Ben has had some huge ideas for Paxton in the last couple months (okay, maybe years) and they’re now all starting to see the surface! Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Ben, and we instantly starting bouncing around a ton of ideas to go along with what he had in store for Paxton. More details on those coming soon. 😉 But for now, I would like to introduce the first of Ben’s brainchildren, Market Street Events!
Ben recently bought what was formerly known as the Tin Pan, and converted half of the old restaurant space into an intimate, elegant event space that will host a wide array of social gatherings in the future! Hard wood floors, brick walls, topped with strings of vintage bare bulbs all completed with a small bar space are just some of the amazing features this space holds. It has all come together little by little, and finally Ben was able to officially open the place with the Market Street Events Grand Opening celebration and ceremonious ribbon cutting, which I was honored to be a part of capturing! Ben planned the perfect candle lit evening and included live music, tasty hors d’oeuvre, and wine! Huge shout out to Rebecca Rego for blessing us with her musical talents as the night went on! Be sure to check out her and her band, Rebecca Rego & The Trainmen!
Take a look for yourself, and if you haven’t already, make it a point to meet Ben at Market Street Events! You won’t regret it!
