Back in the day, Ramey and I were both in the same ballet class. It was something like five years that we danced, laughed, and I’m sure caused a little trouble talking and running around! When ballet ended, and it was too hard to communicate via the string and cup method, we lost touch, until recently.

Ramey first contacted me about wedding photos, and I was excited to touch base with a childhood friend! I was even more excited when I was officially asked to be a part of their big day! We immediately began planning the engagement session! Set for a full year before their set date, we thought we would explore the roadsides of Del Rey, and finish up at Ramey’s family farm. However, I think we were all unaware of the insane amount of mosquitoes that reside in the area. In fifteen minutes, we were covered in bug bites. It wasn’t long that we decided to get out of there, and hope that the bugs weren’t so bad at the barn. We were in luck! The sunset was gorgeous, and aside from a few strays, the bugs weren’t nearly as bad.
