Elks Country Club, St Anne, IL

Stepheny and Eric were married on a warm summer day right on the Kankakee River, and it was absolutely gorgeous! I am always a bit nervous before attending outdoor weddings for the fact of weather, but Stepheny and Eric planned for their ceremony in a little patch of shade under giant trees! Throughout their ceremony, people would float along the river in kayaks and canoes and some would even holler out congratulations and love songs! It was sweet. But what was even sweeter was the look on Eric’s face as we watched his bride walk towards him down the aisle. Happy tears were shed, and lots of love and laughter filled the air around them as they walked into their reception. They allowed me to take them back out a while later to do some more off camera flash shots to try and get some cool stuff, and I’m pleased with the results! Enjoy!
