I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Since buying our new home last month, we’ve officially started renovations! We have big plans in store, and it’s going to take some time, but it has me thinking a lot about the changes we have made in the house we currently live in. The biggest transformation was Bexley’s room!
We didn’t know it would be “Bexley’s room” until we brought her home to it, so we had to design the space around a gender neutral palette. Brandon and I both knew grey would be the main focus on the walls, and I wanted something out of the box, so orange it was! Then it was time for the hard work. We took off the old paneling, ripped up the carpeting, and started fresh. The dresser is an old dresser I refinished too! It took me 18 months to actually take photos of it, but I’m still excited to share this with you.
I hope to better document the new house transformations, hopefully starting soon with a tour!
Before the finished product, here’s where we started. Yikes!
Brandon was so proud to put the crib together!
Done! Yay!
