I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
Last fall, I once again had the privilege of working alongside one of my best tog friends, Holly of Holly Birch Photography, and it was one of the funnest wedding days in a long time. As secondary photographer I got to hang out with Julie most of the morning in the upper floor of the Concorde Room at Pear Tree, and she is a hoot! Tina was downstairs keeping calm with her friends and family while Julie hung out and showed me her custom fitted suit lined with the coolest pattern of romance comics. It was so colorful, I loved it! The best part about both brides getting ready in the Concord room was the ease of popping downstairs to check on things and capture a little bit of everything as the morning progressed! Once the girls were dressed, we headed down to Pear Tree to start on details in the ceremony space. It was so beautifully done and Kristine (Flowers by Kristine) knocked it out of the park with a gorgeous hanging chandelier of greens in the middle of the room, right above where the two stood for their vows. I had just met Tina + Julie that day, but even I had tears multiple times during the ceremony (and even parts of the reception!)
The whole day was gorgeous, I love early November weddings for the weather. The brown bridesmaids dresses paired perfectly with the pink and red florals in the bouquets and centerpieces. The reception was so fun it was hard to leave at the end of the night!
