It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for a #throwbackthursday post. Since Abbey + Kale’s wedding is right around the corner, I thought it would be appropriate for me to finally show off their engagement photos we took last fall. I know guys. I’m way behind, but trying to play catch up.

Anyways, in talking with Abbey about what she wanted for their engagement session, we decided to step out of the box a bit. We ventured to Curtis Orchard in Champaign to explore a bit and see what we could find! It was my second time ever being there, and first time ever conducting an actual photo session in the middle of everyone, but it was so fun! I love working in new places and Abbey + Kale are so easy to work with and laid back that nothing could go wrong. I love having clients who trust me enough and challenge me to step out of my comfort zone!

I simply cannot tell you enough how excited I am to have the honor of photographing Abbey + Kale’s wedding next month. I am over the moon about shooting my first wedding at the Champaign Country Club, although I was able to work there last year alongside Holly of Holly Birch Photography for Abbey’s brother’s wedding! What a small world! (Maybe one of these day’s I’ll get around to blogging that day… baby steps…)
