Meet Danielle and Ross! This will be the first of many times these two sweethearts will be on the blog. But a little backstory, Ross originally reached out to me looking to schedule a sweetheart session for his wife. He knew that he wanted it to be on a semi-regular basis and wanted to chat about how we could plan something like that.

It was a bit of an unusual start, and we all joke about it now. But usually the guys aren’t the ones initiating the thought of getting pictures done. So Ross was immediately a winner in my book. That fact that he took the initiative and reached out to get this set up was so sweet of him.

Danielle is a veterinarian in Gibson City, and Ross farms in the area and they own this property outside of Rantoul. We went out and spent some time with all the animals for this sweetheart session. The horse you see in these photos was hilarious! He kept coming back and pestering us for peppermint. Then the same thing happened with the cows, and it was so funny. We were just laughing the whole time!

I’ve now worked with Danielle and Ross four or five times, including this sweetheart session and their maternity session. AND I just got to photograph their newborn session with their precious little girl. If you follow along on Instagram, you might remember the little Harry Potter newborn from my stories. That was her, and she is adorable.
