I’m pretty sick of the gloomy weather and am so ready for some sunshine! But I’ll be honest, I wasn’t mad at all at how this gloomy senior session turned out! Olivia and I had tried for a fall shoot, but after missing the mark we decided to shoot for spring, until they remembered there’s a school deadline for senior photos for the yearbook, so we went with the first day in January I had available.

It was a mix of rain/sleet and quite gloomy, but we worked with what we had. We found a row of evergreens near Ten Mile Grove and the red barn and then drove into downtown Paxton to shoot for a bit. love the textures from the downtown area. It makes it look so urban! Who knew Paxton could look urban?!

My good friend Sage Ihrke did Olivia’s makeup and it was perfect!! Not only was her makeup great, but her style was spot on! The cutest Gibson City Boutiqute, Syd and Sadie’s, provided some of her outfit pieces.
