I'm a coffee loving, travel-obsessed, twenty-something based out of Central Illinois. I'm lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - photographing people! I specialize in weddings (destination + local), senior portraits, + boudoir.
I’m at a loss for words. To say Hannah + Michael’s engagement session was perfect would be an understatement! I was already excited for their session when she came to me soon after getting engaged to Michael. Hannah’s a friend from high school and I knew we would have a ball working together. After meeting Michael and watching the two of them interact, I knew my job would be cake. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Hannah smile so greatly than when with Michael, and these two love joking around and having fun!
These two are getting married in July at the Middlefork Forest Preserve, and when looking for locations for their engagement session Hannah suggested finding a woodsy area, which meant we didn’t need to look farther than the site of their wedding! Although, since we will be back there in July, I didn’t want them to have a repeat of their engagement photos. So I sought out locations that would be unique just for this session, and earmarked others that would compliment, but not imitate, their engagement photos on their big day. We ventured down a trail that led to the river, and played around in the water! As we wrapped things up, the skies turned dark blue and we left just in time before rain came in. July can’t get here fast enough, and I’ll be excited to spend the day with these two!
