St. John’s Lutheran Church, Buckley, IL + Hilton Garden Inn, Champaign, IL

Brittany + Bradley have one of the cutest relationships I can think of. Their big day was absolutely perfect, and even though the forecast called for storms all day, we did not see one drop of rain!

I started the day at Brittany’s mom’s house in Paxton, where the girls were busy getting ready. We took some beautiful shots of her dress outside (where her brother Jordan had to climb on a pergola to block the sun for us!) and took some stunning details photos inside as well. Brittany looked gorgeous in her purple robe, and had a lot of fun watching her girls get ready! Brittany climbed into her dress with the help of her mom, and surprised her bridesmaids when she walked out of the bathroom. Everyone agreed she was beautiful! We took some group photos of Brittany and her girls in the field behind her house, and headed to the church.

The boys got ready at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buckley, Illinois. They ate lunch, and put on their tuxes for some outdoor group shots with the ushers and ring bearer (what a stud!). The groomsmen headed inside and waited for the girls to arrive, and Brad walked down to the corner for their first look. Brittany and I had talked about some locations in Buckley that would have been perfect if we had the clouds that were expected in the weather forecast, but since it was such a sunny day, we had to move locations. That was ok with me, because I am a sucker for brick walls! Brittany prepped in a shop window before turning the corner to see her groom. Their first look was super cute and non-traditional – and they were both so excited to see each other. We snuck in a few bridals, took family pictures, and waited for the ceremony to start.

Their ceremony was perfect! The pastor was funny, and you could tell that Brittany + Brad were extremely excited to marry each other. After the ceremony, we headed to downtown Champaign for some full bridal party photos. The group was super fun, and enjoyed celebrating with Brittany + Brad before the reception! We then drove to the Hilton Garden Inn in Champaign, Illinois, for the reception. The centerpieces were HUGE and beautiful – unlike anything I had ever photographed before. The wheat grass at the head table paired perfectly with all of their greens on the guests’ tables. Each table was numbered by year – from the year they were born to the year they were married and paired with photos of each of them – what a cute idea! We cut the cake, danced for the first time as husband and wife, and started the dancing! We were also able to step out for a little bit closer to sunset for some additional portraits!

I was happy to see that this couple is loved by so many people- and I enjoyed being able to share this wonderful day with them. Congrats Brittany + Brad! Leave 50 comments for the couple to recieve $50 in print credit!
